We are Part of Something Bigger…

What is the Church of the Nazarene?

The Church of the Nazarene is a global church formed in 1908 when several like-minded groups united in the holiness movement. They created a community focused on sharing our stories of faith, and the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, caring for those in need, and education. It is a diverse group of people from various cultures and languages today. To learn more about our history, go here.

How many Nazarene churches are there?

This is hard to answer as new communities are always planted in different areas of the world. The church is organized into six global regions and divided into districts.

Our church is a part of the USA/Canada region and the Canada West District. We work together with churches across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

What other ministries do you support?

Our church supports global missions through offerings at Easter and Thanksgiving, plus various ministries that take place across our three provinces. These ministries and institutions aim to bring hope and love to those who need it most, providing food, shelter, clothes, education, safe spaces, companionship, and guidance within the communities of our district.
